On 11 May, Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan delivered a keynote speech during an online meeting organised at the initiative of Working Group on Artsakh of the San Francisco area. The Working Group was created in the wake of the 44-day war in 2020 to promote various community programmes and initiatives, and to co-ordinate fundraising and committee activities for humanitarian aid, healthcare and other issues in the San Francisco area.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan presented the social and economic consequences of Azerbaijan's blockade of Artsakh, as well as the humanitarian and security challenges facing the country.
The Foreign Minister highlighted the contribution of the Armenian Diaspora to the development of Armenia and Artsakh. He also expressed gratitude to the meeting participants for raising awareness of the situation in and around Artsakh and for supporting fellow Armenians under blockade in Artsakh in all possible ways.
