On August 16, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh David Babayan sent a congratulatory message to newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Jioev.

The message, in particular, reads as follows:

I am confident that your activities as Foreign Minister will be aimed at protecting with dignity the interests of your Republic in the international arena, ensuring relevant conditions for the peaceful development and prosperity of your country.

In Artsakh, we highly appreciate the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with South Ossetia.
