On April 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Masis Mayilian met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in Yerevan.
The sides stressed the importance of holding regular consultations and meetings between the Foreign Ministries, noting that such contacts contribute to the strengthening and development of cooperation between the two Armenian states in different spheres.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers discussed a wide range of issues related to the settlement of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict ahead of the April 15 meeting in Moscow. The sides once again referred to the meetings held between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan, as well the meetings between Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan under the auspices of the OSCE MG Co-Chairs.
The Ministers also exchanged views on a range of issues related to the humanitarian measures aimed at creating an atmosphere of trust between the conflicting parties.
Masis Mayilian reiterated that the full-fledged and direct participation of the Republic of Artsakh is crucial for reaching progress in the process of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict settlement and for ensuring productive dialogue between all the parties.
