On September 28, 2013, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan received members of the delegation of the French city of Vienne headed by Mayor Jacques Remilier, who had arrived in Stepanakert.

Greeting the guests, the NKR Foreign Minister noted the importаnce of the traditional ties between France and Artsakh, and expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of friendly relations between different communities of France and the NKR.

Both sides underlined the necessity of the development and expansion of these ties that create an opportunity of implementing various programs in the spheres of culture, education, sports, trade and local self-governance.

During the meeting, the Minister answered numеrous questions of the guests concerning the settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh and the processes of state-building in the NKR.
