Accreditation for journalists

 

Accreditation rules for journalists at the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the MFA of the NKR, according to the NKR “Law on Mass Media”

For the NKR media and the special correspondents of foreign media outlets in the NKR:

In order to acquire accreditation, journalists need to submit:

  • A letter, signed and sealed, by the head of the media organization or its editor-in-chief, certifying the journalist’s credentials;
  • One 3x4cm photo or its scanned version;
  • A copy of an identification document (passport), or its scanned version;
  • The completed application form;

Yearly accreditations end on December 31.

For the representatives of foreign media:

In order to acquire accreditation journalists need to submit:

  • A letter, signed and sealed by the head of the media organization, or its editor-in-chief, certifying the journalist’s credentials, and specifying, in particular, the aim of the visit, the name/names of the journalist/journalists, the duration of their stay, and the list of their expected meetings in Nagorno Karabakh. 
  • One 3x4cm photo or its scanned version;
  • A copy of identification document (passport), or its scanned version;
  • The completed application form.

 

The  accreditation letter should be sent 10 days in advance to press[@]mfa.nkr.am:

Accreditation will be granted for the period of time for which the journalist’s entry visa to the NKR is issued.
