NKR President’s visit to Lebanon is on
On August 23, The President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited in Beirut the Patriarchate of the Armenian Catholic Church and met with the Armenian Catholic Patriarch Nerses Bedros XIX, supreme hierarchs of the church and representatives of the Armenian community.
NKR President's meetings in Lebanon go on
On August 21, President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (Republic of Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan, who is in Lebanon these days, visited Central Committee of the of the Armenian Evangelical Churches of the Near East located in the city of Beirut and met with its representatives, headed by the Central Committee’s chairman Soghomon Kilaghbyan.

THE FLOW OF TOURISTS INTO THE NKR IS INCREASING
The interest of foreign citizens in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic is increasing. According to the Consular Service of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the total number of foreign citizens, who visited the Republic in the first half-year of 2010, increased by 45% compared with the similar period of 2009.

On July 10, a meeting of NKR Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosian with students and lecturers from various universities of Belgium took place.
International Economic Forum held in the NKR
“Bridge Artsakh” Second Economic Forum was held in Stepanakert under the auspices of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan. Businessmen from the NKR, RA and the Armenian Diaspora, representatives of governmental structures of both Armenian republics took part in the forum.
